There's something to be said about Patience

Sometimes things happen in life that force us to be still. Coming from someone who's always on the go stillness isn't a state of being that I've been able to endure for more than 45 minutes, and that's usually only when meditating. Being forced into stillness due to an injury, traffic jam, or a long line at the market is an opportunity to be present to where you're at in that moment. Most people get out their phone and look at Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat or any number of aversions to being still. This ongoing need to distract our selves only creates more anxiety and stress in our lives. So the next time you find yourself waiting for your chance to engage, before grabbing your cell phone notice what is around you instead. Look, breathe, observe and become aware of what is happening around you, and if your mind tells you this is lame, or stupid, or a waste of time, ask yourself Who is telling you these things. Who are you listening to? Is it YOU or just the thoughts that are in your head? Become curious. Be patient with yourself. Even if it only lasts for a few moments, you will be rewarded with a feeling of peace once that moment has past.
